My life will be just fine when I never get invited to church ever again.

And when I have a well-paying job.

Um, no, but I like to think of it as a work in progress.

The fact that I don't believe in spirit beings controlling what happens does not mean that life is not full of risks, chances, mistakes, changes, etc. All that my belief in reality means is that I can't go around thanking God for good luck, decent planning or wise decisions, and I don't blame the Devil for bad luck misfortune, bad planning or dumb mistakes.

There is no God, but no one is really in full control, so life is always less than perfect.

Well, if there were no outside factors, maybe. But there are. There are other people, and the demands of the law and economy, and I, an American, live in a country where narrowly-elected officials make decisions that affect my life directly.

I kinda missed the logic here, or, is there any logic in this question?

FYI
we are not in total control of our life, there is society/ other people and physical environment.

I think the belief of those who dont believe in G-d is that their destiny is in their hands to more of a degree than believers. Their effort plus the nature of their environmental factors make up the degree of satisfaction they get out of life.... I think. Don't quote me!

No logic whatsoever, Unfortunately, my life is not a vaccuum. I must interact with other people and things, all which effect my life thus making it other than what I want..

No; we're not in full control; there are other people, and of course the physical reality.
