Not much of a best friend if you ask me. Should tell that person to shut their mouth and keep their degrading comments to themselves.
If you want to lose weight, you need to exercise properly and eat a healthy, balanced diet.

You do NOT need to lose weight. I am 5'0" and currently 150lbs. My goal (which I am working on) is to be 130lbs. My question is whether or not your "friend" needs to gain weight. Unless she has small bones and a high metabolism, my guess is she is underweight, which is just as unhealthy as being overweight.

Your measurements sound right on target as far as the charts for good health are concerned.
Are you both teenagers? An obsession with looks and social competition is characteristic of teens. That passes after you get out of that stage.

your friends a *****. now, for one, she's shorter so she should be lighter. im 5'6 also and my doctor tells me 120-130 lbs is the IDEAL weight for my height so you're PERFECT. and ditch your friend, just cuz you're not anorexic doesn't mean you're overweight.

Your friend is a nothing but a hater. She shouldn't be knocking you like that. It's mean and it's not how friends are supposed to interact with one another.

Don't listen to your friend. There are always those people who bring people down just so they could make themselves feel better. Don't listen to it. Always think positive.
You have to commit yourself into a healthy lifestyle. Exercise and eat healthily. Don't think about it as "going on a diet". You have to eat healthily for your body to function properly.
Exercise will do great but if you're exercising and still feeding your body junk, then you'll go nowhere.
Drink plenty of water and eat plenty of fruit and vegetables.
Eating healthily will not only make you feel good but will help your body
-cleanse itself of toxins and free radicals
-improve your skin
-improve concentration
-improve your immune system and there are many more positives.
Instead of thinking about losing weight. Think about becoming healthy and more active, and living longer.

If you want to lose 10 pounds, you've got to watch what you eat and exercise.
Ignore your friend's dumb comments.
