If you mean to RUN Java Scripts on ur Web browser go to sun.java.com and download the Java Runtime Environment and Install it.

Once that is done you can browse sites which have javaapplets.

If you want to program and run your own java scripts. You can trype your scripts in notepad. You need a webserver. IIS is free with WinXP Pro or u can download freewares like apache.

Once u have a webserver running you can keep the javascripts in the scripts folder and access them from broswer to check their functionality.

If you need any further clarification please get back to me

I would say go to Microsoft.com and search java script use/or updates. I never heard of actually 'using java script' it's a performance thing but doesn't mean you can't.... If you use MAC/ Apple, I have no clue.
