I don't believe that Christianity has any thing to do with Hitler. Hitler was not a Christian. We have a free will because if we didn't have free will as human beings then we would all be like puppets.

Another thing that most people do not realize is that while all this horrible stuff was going on that there were helpful Christians who hid a number of jewish people in their attics to protect them from these horrors.

One example is Corrie Ten Boom.

There is a movie and book written about her life during the time of hitler.

Not only Jews were sent to Auschwitz but also thousands of gypsies, disabled, teachers, philosophers, engineers, priests, nuns and anyone that they suspected of sabotage or treason.
I have roman catholic family that died in concentration camps.
I have been to Auschwitz( now it is open to the public and has been preserved) and the people who were herded through these hallways from all walks of life scratched their names and messages on the walls. Many of them wrote messages such as " Your salvation is in Christ" and John 3:16, so that others who passed through the halls behind them would see and have a choice to be saved. God was very busy at Auschwitz gathering thousands and thousands into His kingdom.

God doesn't send anyone to hell. It's just like with Nietzsche, who said that God was dead. To me it's quite apparent that God is living and Nietzsche is dead. :)
