We have been friends for years and good friends for a few months. I also showed her ways in which I thought she was flirting with me. She said I misinterpreted her actions and that she wants to explain them. We were talking tonight on AIM, and she said she thought it would be a good idea if we "shared more of what we thought so we could encourage one another". She also wants to know my inner thoughts. What does she want?

You are about to be the new subject of her and her friends in "mind-fuc*ing 101"...you are getting ready to be set up to be led on and turned down quite a bit until her and her friends get tired of the game, then you will probably never hear from her again.
Trust me---she will take all that you tell her, get together with her friends and they will all devise ways for her to screw with your mind, lead you on, and then turn you down...lead you on, turn you down...lead you on, turn you down...then when it isn't any fun anymore, she will disappear like a shadow in the night..

She is either playing with you,isn't sure if she wants to go any further,or just wants a good friend and you really did misinterpret her behavior(most likely you didn't and it's one of the first two).Good luck!

If she denied flirting with you, then it kind of sounds like she's just fishing for compliments. She wants you to tell her how much you like her, so she can feel good about herself.
