Quit whining and get over it. Go to the bathroom with a girly mag and have some really, really safe sex. You'll feel a lot better.

The point is that you CAN get sex at any time from almost any man on the street-- a study done showed that number to be 95%, but there were no takers when an attractive male college student was sent to approach women and offer sex. Just because you don't want instant sex with 95% of the men on the street, does not mean that you can't get it, nor does risk mean that you cannot get sex anywhere at any time from male strangers or from male friends or any other guy. Also, the exception does not disprove the rule-- when will you thickheaded females learn to understand that?

Let me see if I can hit on every "point" you made here.

The commercials are geared for the male audience because so many still refuse to use them. Plus it is your member that it is supposed to cover, so it would make sense to market to the demographic that would be wearing the product. I have seen tons of condom commercials and none of them that I have seen painted men to be demons or subhuman. Most of them were quite clever and witty I thought, especially the ones from Trojan.

Yes there are female condoms, but that haven't been tested to the extent as the male ones have, so no one is sure if they are equally, less, or more safe than male condoms.

On most condoms the "methods" you mentioned are already covered since any lubricated condom is lubricated with spermicide. While there are many birth control options out there for women, most of them do not protect against sexually transmitted diseases. Condoms do.

The lectures that you are talking about sould like they are playing into the stereotype that men are always on the prowl for some. Thus leaving women to "protect" their treasured virtue. (I am not saying that this is right, but it is the traditional gender view of sex.)

This one makes no since. Of course women and men should be influenced to practice safer sex if they choose to be sexually active. It is the responsible thing to do.

Most women automatically take responsibility on our own because we don't want to end up pregnant. Think of how many women take birth control, and generally we do it without needing encouragement from commercials.

If it were your body that was the one that had to carry the baby, you can bet you wouldn't need anyone to push responsibility on you.

I'm not saying all women are more responsible all the time, that would be a false over-simplification, but we do already have an ingrained fear to encourage us.

the whole term of "SAFE SEX" really started up stronger with protecting yourself be it man or woman from get HIV/AIDS, not pregnancy, because you never know who the person you are having sex with has been
And it is usually the man who doesn't want to use the condom cause it desensitizes...well duh...you should think of it as prolonging the good feeling because it will take longer to get there which in a way is most beneficial to both

I am male, condoms make the sensations of sex null and void.
Women have a form of birthcontrol other than the pill, it is called the sponge. The only problem with that is that you really can't feel anything.

because women can't be trusted totally and some will do/say anything to have a kid. do you wanna have a kid with someone you had sex with once or twice and have to support it for the next 18 years?? if not then wrap it! and women forget to take their pill.
