"...anyone who believes in God and the last day and does righteousness; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve..." 2:62 Quran
If that is not the most-merciful encompassing verse I don't know what is...I can only hope that the true Christians will reciprocate the respect and defense I put up for them, despite their (corrupted IMHO) Bible and sinful followers. I still have hope :)

As a Christian, I am generally sorry that you feel like this, and honestly feel that a Christian who sincerly practices and follows their religion will not show "hate" towards those of different faiths. It is part of our religion that we are taught that every person should be loved, regardless of religion.
I think that the sad fact is, that within any religion there are the minority which give it a bad name. I do agree with you that "hate" may be caused by media and the emotions which are stirred up during this coverage.
It is my belief that anyone who "hates" simply does not know that person well enough. I truly believe that if we know someone, then we understand them and when this happens then there is no way we can hate them. We may dislike or disagree with some of their actions and attitudes.
I hope that somehow this response has in one way or another demonstrated that not all Christians "hate".

I am a Christian and I know a lot about Islam. My goal is to become an authority on Islam. I do not hate Islam, but the terrorist do nothing to improve Islam's image. The media is not my source for knowing Islam, the Koran is my source.

Unfortunatley, I'd have to disagree. As a christian, I do not hate muslims and have only met a handful of christians in my entire life who do. While I will not deny that there are some profoundly stupid people out there who are christian who hate Islam, most people dont. In fact, I know more people who have a problem with extremist Christians than Ithey do with most Muslims.
I think one of the unfortunate things about our society is the perception of religions today. Because the only things that people see about Muslims and Christians are the extremists (i.e. suicide bombers and televangelists), people have begun to mistrust religion. If you ask ANY religious person, be they Christian or Muslim or Jewish or whatever, what the point of their religion is, it is to honor and respect their god. What people have problems with are the human things that get carried out in god's name. To quote the movie Dogma:
"What He (GOD) really hates is the **** that gets carried out in his name. Wars. Bigotry. Televangelism"
In a nutshell, no sane christian hates Muslims. They might hate their actions, but part of christianity is loving your neighbors, even if the don't happen to believe in the same god. Jesus was about love and we should try to remember that.

Islam "Respects" Christians????
You've got to be kidding me!?!?
I suppose that you're basing it on this, right??? "We believe
in what has been sent down to us and sent down to you, our God is the same as your God" Surah 29:45 Quoting Mohammad from the Koran.
Now, that is what he'd said when he was starting Islam. Guess what he said when he'd won his first few "Battles"???? "Fight People of the Book (Christians and Jews), who do not accept the religion of the truth (Islam), until they pay tribute (penalty tax) by hand, being inferior." Surah 9:29.
So, we are all "inferior" to you guys, are we???? And isn't this also what your arrogant excuse for a Prophet is saying in the Koran???? "Resisting Islam is punishable by death, crucifixion or the cutting off of the hands and feet." (surah 5:33).
Aren't these also from your own Koran??? Muslims must fight until their opponents submit to Islam (surah 9:29). A Muslim must not take a Jew or a a Christian for a friend (surah 5:51) Submission (true Islam) will prevail throughout the world (48:28)
Now, you tell me how can I believe you, a Muslim???

As Christians, we are to honestly and sincerely respect Muslims; however, the Islamic religion [I'm separating the religion from it's actual followers here] commands it's people to kill non-Muslims.
Many Muslims go against this commandment, as they also want to respect other people... but that begs the question: if they are consciously ignoring to follow these Islamic teachings, can they really be called Muslims?

Most Christians don't hate Islam. If they did, the world would be much more violent than it already is. You must be talking about Americans (primarily southern Americans).

It's in the Koran that Muslims must hate the infidels, which includes Christians. The multinational illuminati banker controlled antichrist media is making use of this detail in order to foment the third world war.

I dont hate Islam, I just learn through former Muslims such as my son and others that your religion is not peaceful and that you should kill all the infidels if they dont convert to your religion, Why do countries that are Muslim kill people who convert to Christianity, and dont say they dont, because it is happening right now. I dont listen to what most of the media says because most of them are left wing liberals.
