Cooking, home repair, making love, & automotive skills. I think that sums it up. The cooking is an optional but the others would be important. I can do some repairs around the house & some on my car even, but I'm not experienced enough to take care of those things myself. So, it's nice to have a man that can or that can afford to pay someone who can, either one. My hubby isn't great on the home repair part but he is at the rest & he usually does all the yard work. Yard work is actually something I enjoy doing, but it makes him feel manly to do it so I don't complain MUCH. Another thing is that he didn't know much when we first got together, we were 17. All of these things he learned as time went by & the problem came up. So, don't feel like you need to learn how to roof the house, fix the plumbing, put down hardwood floors, etc... all at once. Just be willing to try or like I said find someone that will help you or do it for you~

Well, sorry, but the nice and kind and funny is much more important than the souffle and the leaky toilet. This is not to say that handy and useful would ever be underappreciated. Reminds me of something I read recently: "No woman ever shot a man while he was doing the dishes". You undoubtedly are already drawn to some activities and repelled by others, and that should be your guide. You might love carpentry but hate auto mechanics. You might love cooking, but not cleaning. It is probably a good thing to get one of those "how to fix just about everything" books, so you are not toally lost when it comes to repairs, but I know plenty of women who are already competent at such things. You are only going to be good at what you can reasonably enjoy. Also, some folks are "specialists" and some are jacks of all trades, masters of none. How's that for *not* answering your question, lol

never tell a girl about how another girl is pretty in front of her, don't tease her, keep her confidence up by complimenting her, don't be brutally honest, really listen to her no matter what, and try and catch her often confusing and hard to understand signals, basically..pay attention!!!

The key is communication. a good man should be able to convey his emotions, his thoughts, and be at ease doing so. A good man doesnt need to cook or be great at home repairs though it helps. The key always is in the heart. A good man knows how to make you feel appreciated, loved, safe and confident.
