Do you have to take a shower at night to wash gel out of your hair?

Personal preference? If you like sleeping with gel in your hair... no? You can also wash your hair without taking a shower?

I would suggest it. Gel is water based. So when you add water its almost like reapplying it. You could wash your hair out completely and not take a shower, but if you just run water through it, it will only "activate" the gel.

I like to take a shower to get it out before bed. I don't like the thought of the gel flaking off on my pillow case, and in my bed.

My husband showers at night to get the hairspray out of his hair. More importantly, he washes away the impurities of the day.

You don't HAVE to. You can wait until the morning or before you get ready the next day. It's not something that's going to matter much if you don't wash your hair the night before~

Not necessarily, but you should at least wash out all the funk from the day. Plus, you have pollutants all over you and that causes free radicals to occur, which causes aging. Best advice: Bathe at night.

I use alot of hairspray and I wash it out in the morning before I go anywhere.

You can rinse it in the sink and towel dry, that way it won't get all over your pillowcase or stay crunchy/break off. In the morning you can shower & shampoo as usual.
