I'm 5'5" and when I was 15 I dieted and got down to 115-120 and a size 4. I though I was fine but everyone started saying I looked bad and I was too skinny. A happy medium for me was 125-130. You'll have small curves and a 6-8.
Also, stay active. Muscle burns more calories and you can eat more and you'll have a good lean shape.

From beyond enjoy I might say don't weigh. For me that was once the quickest strategy to sabotage myself. If I noticed that I was once wasting weight I might begin consuming extra immediately and defeat the motive. If I wasn't wasting weight quick sufficient, consistent with the size, I might broaden a defeatist angle and begin consuming and say "Oh why hassle". The fine method for me, a minimum of, is to move by means of how my garments are compatible and whether or not or now not my breasts would maintain a pencil beneath by means of themselves. I'm beautiful flat chested and after they would maintain a pencil, I was once chubby. If I caught to these 2 laws, I was once adequate. I do feel that while you get on your ultimate weight, this is a well proposal to weigh your self everyday to ensure you are now not gaining once more, and if you're, make the small changes in nutrition or up your undertaking. Its less difficult to lose a bit weight than plenty. If I did not weight myself after I misplaced as so much weight as I desired, it might creep again on till .....the pencil, you realize!

You should talk to a nutritionist or your doctor to determine the appropriate weight for yourself. 5'6'' doesn't tell enough about your overall structure. Are you small, medium or large boned? You should be more concerned with your percentage of body fat. Eat healthy, get plenty of fiber, keep consumption of simple carbs (candy, cakes, pies...) to a minimum, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, make sure your getting protein (meat and/or some other source if your are a vegetarian) and drink plenty of water. And let's not forget to exercise, even something a simple as walking to and from school is good for burning calories.

Your ideal weight is between 124 and 154 pounds. The perfect weight for your height is indicated as 130 however if you are within that range above you are perfectly healthy weight wise. It is still a good idea to eat a balanced diet and exercise, you are still growing!
