This guy was talking to me for 45 minutes at a party - his friends tried to get him to go away with them twice, he said no both times. He left once briefly and said "you're staying here right" - and i was like - sure...and then he insisted on getting my number. He gave me his cell & card w/o me asking. 2 weeks later, no call... after that whole presentation? what was that for? we had a teeny tiny kiss goodnight.

the only other thing is that after we said "good night" - i ended up seeing him at this other party... but i was with all of my friends so i dont think i looked stalker-ish... i just know the same ppl sorta. i left that place very quickly anyway. I know 1/2 the replies will just be "get over it" - and i am over it (he wasnt that special) - but it's the curiosity that plagues me. why act 150% into me and then vanish?

1. He was not drunk whatsoever. (would've been my first thought)
2. He wasn't trying to get laid - his friends were all in town & he had to be w/ them.

Doesn't have anything to do with you. Who knows why they don't call? Who cares? Sometimes it's fear. Fear of rejection, fear of opening up, fear of getting close to people. Maybe he already has a girlfriend. Or met somebody in the time after you saw him. Or just didn't care enough afterwards.

I understand wanting to get behind the reasons, but there are so many possibilities. People do this all the time. For whatever reason, stuff doesn't work out. Men and women both.

This is why it's good to brush it off, like you said. Don't get overinvested, so there won't be any hurt. At least you didn't go out on a bunch of dates with the guy. Consider yourself lucky that it happened after only knowing him for...what? an hour? And not any longer.

1. He's just not that into you.
2. He's got a GF/wife or maybe even BF

Don't delude yourself. He told you he was single. Nothing prevents him from lying.

He went to two parties in one night. Maybe in all his party hopping, (he could have hit upwards of 20 parties since then) he found somebody who he was more into.

He spent a total of 1 hour with you. You didn't make that big of an impression on him, otherwise he would have called.

I know that's not the answer you're looking for, but it's the truth. If this guy was as into you as you seem to think he was he would have called. He didn't, thus he's not that into you. Simple as that.

Maybe he is thinking you blew him off at the second party, if you didn't at least go over and say hi ?

He was probably playing you, I'm sorry but he wanted to look good in front of his friends.
