I live in a dorm room in which you are only allowed to have cooking items that don't use a flame. So I was wondering if it is possible to cook a raw chicken breast on a triangle sandwich maker. Since it is like a hot plate, could it work like a pan, or is this concept just a bad idea. Just wondering. Thanks.

You should get a Foreman grill. Its Faster and easier. Not that expensive. And as George would say. Less Fat. Good for your Heart. Sandwich maker you might have problems cleaning raw chicken breast out of it. You should get a crock pot as well. No microwave in the dorm?

I would worry about food safety because it doesn't get hot enough to thoroughly cook the meat. I am not sure if the maker's surface can handle the juice and grease. Best of luck to you!! Don't starve.

Hey, as far as I'm concerned, if it cooks the chicken then it works and it should be used. Just make sure the chicken is cooked through properly. We don't want to get you sick.

the sandiwch maker does not generate enough heat to cook through a chicken breast, this is indeed a tricky proposition,it's ok to wonder, but don't attempt it.
