I am an agnostic. Some Christians say that I will go to hell for not accepting their religion.

So what? Let's assume that it's all true and there is God who sends the nonbelievers to hell:

I do not care about myself. I do not care about the welfare of my own soul. I only care about other people and their wellbeing.

I must remain rational at all times in order to ensure their wellbeing. This is my principle. I am willing to spend an eternity burning in hell just to uphold this principle.

I cannot be scared. Why should I care? Why do I need to cry "Aba father" when I'm doing the work anyway?

For the record I also care about spirituality but only the kind I have to work to find.

You sound very much like a Bodhisattva from Buddhism.

I'm like this as well....though I don't believe it literally, as stated in the link I gave you. I think of it more metaphorically.

One lady got me so pissed at the idea of little children of different religions frying in hell I yelled at her I'd rather be with them. The evil of the concept juxtaposed with the line she gave me about God's love just set me off.

Hell hath no meaning for the honorable Agnostic; for he believeth not in Heaven nor Hell!?!?

Rationality is the arrow to God. Maybe you should follow it.
