I believe it is the uniform testimony of Scripture that those who are not capable of making a decision to receive Jesus Christ, and who have died, are now with Christ in heaven, resting in His tender arms, enjoying the sweetness of His love. There are numerous factors supporting this viewpoint.
It is highly revealing that in all the descriptions of Hell in the Bible, we NEVER read of infants or little children there. Only adults capable of making decisions are seen there. Nor do we read of infants and little children standing before the Great White Throne judgement, which is the judgement of the wicked dead and the precursor to the lake of fire (Rev 20:11-15). The complete silence of Scripture regarding the presence of infants in eternal torment militates against their being there.
Jesus and the children. As we examine instances in which Christ encountered children during His earthly ministry, it would seem that children have a special place in His kingdom. Jesus even said, "Unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven" (Mat 18:3) He also said, "Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me (verse 5). I don't think there is any way someone could read through Matthew 18 and conclude that it is within the realm of possibility that Jesus could damn such little ones to hell!

good question
a new born baby does not experience any kind of pain or pleasure or stable condition ,so his soul does not have any role in this life .nothing can be said about the soul's nature based on previous life.it may go to heaven or hell or in this world again.yes it is sure that the baby is born to teach something to the his/her parents

do not know........different religions have different ideas......christians say hell, hindus and muslims say heaven.......therefor since the child is a non christian therefore he will not go to hell as the christian rule does not apply to him......but just writing this answer i was feeling that how stupid we all are dividing this world of ours into different religions and ideas and fighting among ourselves......this is the worst answer i have ever written as it did not come from my heart, soul and mind but according to the views of the religious texts.

hell, according to christian theology. NOWHERE in the bible does it say anything about age of accountability. if not knowing right from wrong was a way around the atonement of jesus then retaded/psychotic murderers all go to heaven. sorry guys, you cannot have it both ways. babies go to hell in christianity because they were born with the original sin on their heads. just like the rest of us.

took birth???

If you are saying a baby died a few days after, the baby will go to heaven.

Same as all metally retarded people... there is accountability to be taken into consideration.

God is Just.

All children go to heaven that are under the age of accountability.

You know, some people don't believe in either heaven or a soul.

Save your prayers folks, I'm sure I'm "doomed" already.
