Theres this guy whom Im really interested in. He recently became an attorney. He is good looking and goes clubbing. Ive been told I am tall and pretty but of course thats not the only thing a man wants. I dont know how to cook, and I only make 36k a year. I am only an Assistant.. He is very proud of his success and is very confident. I am not. Im supposed to go out with him on a first date this weekend and I am very intimidated. Im thinking about calling the whole thing off and find someone who isnt as intimidating as him. What should I do?

If you want to go clubbing you'll probably have to deal with a man who makes more money than you do, if not this one, then another one. He may not mind the difference. If you do go, ask him questions about himself, his interests, hobbies, music, travels, even his law cases. If you find him/them interesting, stick with it. If not, don't.
It's easy to say "drop your intimidated feelings" but not so easy to do it. That may need more work.
All men don't want the same things, and cooking may not matter to him. If you feel ashamed you can't cook, try it -- you may like it.

May be he is attracted to you for possessing just the opposite traits. Enjoy the date and be carefree.
