Can this cause cancer since you're directly under the dish 7 hours a night?

the dish is picking up the signal from space. it does not matter where it is at. on the house or on the ground. no radiation will ever come off of it.don't loose sleep over it. PS dishes rule, cable sucks.

No. Where did you hear that or come up with that idea?
The waves that the antenna is picking up are there regardless if you have a satellite antenna or not.

that's silly. the satelite does not beam the signal just to your dish...it's going everywhere...
