Yes you should buy a gift, a spoon or a cup with the childs name and date of batism engraved on it, a keepsake

Yes, it would be a lovely gesture. A rosary or a small pocket sized bible is traditional, but any thoughtful small gift would be appropriate.

Good luck. Gift shopping for baptisms can be tough.

Catholics should read more of the Bible!

of course you should even if you are a different religion. You love your friend and respect her/him for trying to better his/her life. A gift will show your friend you care. Do it you won't be sorry...but you will be sorry if you don't.
