Over a period of time, all forms of smoking damages your lungs, which, of course, lung cancer could develop and kill you.
You can overdose on MaryJane, a term we call "greening out", where you just vomit and sweat and stuff like that.
If you are allergic to MaryJane, then of course it can kill you. My best mates brother nearly died from anaphylactic shock after one toke of a joint.
The big one is that if you are mixing drugs it can certainly kill you. Your brain may have trouble "speaking" to your lungs, telling them to breathe, and they don't respond.

I had one friend who has something similar happen to her but she found out later it was laced with something. If you know for sure it wasn't mixed with something else. Everyone has a different experience with it. And if it's purchased, "Commercially" I'm meaning off the street from someone unknown, you can't believe the chemicals that may be already in it and what it could have been mixed with it to make it "stronger" this is done with poor quality weed. But, I tell you, I don't suggest anyone do it. It's not like back in the 60's and 70's it was a lot "safer" then if you can call it that. With all the governments sort of trying to "stomp" it out they poison the weed and those chemicals are still there when the "comsumer" get's it. so if the person you got it from didn't grow it themselves don't trust it at all. If they did and you had that reaction you just may want to leave it alone. Anyway, most places it's illegal. Good Luck, stay Safe

People will tell you no only because they are in denial and use it themselves. But yes you can. If you are talking short term -depending on if you already have an existing medical condition or are on some orther forms of medictation it is possible. Its a small chance but it is possible. Or the long term effects....just like with smoking it can cause cancer.

---There has never ever been a recorded overdose or death from marijuana. ---
It's true marijuana contains carcinogens, but you experience about the same risks of carcinogen intake as a ciggarette, due to lack of filter and longer inhalation time. Marijuana does contain less carcinogens than cigarettes though. Each person has their own experience with marijuana, if you've had bad experiences, maybe you shouldn't pursue it.
Also, marijuana has been used in cases to treat and lessen the symptoms of epilpsy (a condition with symptoms such as seizuring) so no... it doesn't induce seizures. General side effects are lessening/reducing of nausea, increased appetite, general hallucinagenic effects.

No, not under normal circumstances. You probaby had a panic attack - this is not uncommon. Now, if you are asthmatic and prone to asthma attacks or seizures that is another story. Obviously you should avoid any kind of smoking in that case.
And yes, smoking can damage your lungs if make a habit of it, and can eventually be fatal.

A very close friend of mine who fought for us in Vietnam smoked pot every day - more than 3 or more blundts a day. In May he went to see a doctor who diagnosed him as having cancer a result from smoking pot cause he didn't smoke cigs. That same year, in November he passed away. God Bless his soul. If your 'seizures' are on a continuous basis, please get a professional diagnosis from a doctor. Have a healthy New Year!!

Yes, you can die of cancer just like from cigarettes. I am sure you could also have something else going on. You need to see a doctor. Be honest with him and tell him about the weed.

never heard of anyone dying but some do get freaked out usually people that are hung up and can't let go find trouble . what you experienced seems to be like a panic attack with your make up I would avoid the stuff you really don't need it and the resulting attack is not worth it .

NO there has never been an death from just marijuana. I'd say you either got to high and geek'd out or it wasn't straight weed(but you would've known if it wasn't straight weed) I smoke and I've had some strange things happen to me but it's nothing to worry about

There are some very potent types out there.
Yes, you can black out and all kinds of things and it doesn't take much . . . some is powerful enough to knock you out in a couple of inhales.
