A good girl friend of mine asked if I wanted to mutually share our deepest secrets with each other. She thought this was a good way for us to be accountable for our deepest thoughts. Why does she want us to share our deepest thoughts with each other?

I wouldn't do it because whats gonna happen if suddenly you aren't friends anymore then whats gonna happen. How good of a friend is she and do you know her that well that she wouldn't tell any body? I'd take my deepest secret with me to the grave.

depending on how well you know her she might just want to connect...but i'd be careful
hopefully she's not the kind that will turn around and tell the whole school...if you think she's not, go for it! you'll have a friend you can always talk to and that should understand you a little better!

She wants to be close to you.She needs to vent to someone and feels if you share your secrets with her there will be an even exchange and you'll be less likely to divulge her personals to someone else.
