Lately I have been feeling slightly nausea, occasianal pains all over my stomach area, and a headace that has been going for a few days now but has ceased. Generally, to get the nausea away I take Zantac but it generally comes back. Does anyone know what could be cauzing all this?

I know I'm not pregnant for sure. And also I take Zantac because the nausea is like acidic and I get reflux.

Zantac should not be providing relief for nausea -- it's an acid reducer.

There are too many possibilities as to what's wrong to even begin speculating here. Does the nausea come only at particular times of the day (such as in the morning)? Does it come only after eating? Is it possible that you're pregnant?

General nausea, uncorrelated with any specific events, that lasts for more than a few days should be taken to a doctor. If this accompanied by a fever, go the the doctor right tomorrow.

To be safe, you should take a pregnancy test. If it turns out that you are pregnant, taking Zantac may not be a good idea.

If you know you aren't pregnant, try asking on the WebMD board, or calling your doctor's office and asking one of the nurses.

It's not a bad idea to schedule a doctors appointment. It could be an ulcer and those don't go away on their own.

Could be an ulcer or irritation in the lining, do you eat alot of spicy foods, tomatoey foods, rough foods like chips, caffeine? orange uice? Cayenne pepper and black pepper irritate the stomach too so if you eat any of those, cut them out of your diet for a week or two and see if that makes any difference. It also could be something that you ate was about ready to spoil or had bacteria in it that gave you a dose of bad food similiar to food poisoning but not as bad too. Another cause could be medications or vitamins, they can upset the stomach. Also, the obvious, pregnancy, but sometimes ovarian cysts can cause nausea as they press on other things. If you're not feeling better in another few days I'd get checked out at the doctors.

I would say you have a stomach ache. Maybe an ulcer since it is relieved by Zantac
