I didn't know that was the case. However, I'm anti any group that is a proponent of violence. If the zionists are doing harm/illegal activities, then I think as a society we have the right to stop them.

Because in the denial of a homeland of the Jewish people, one can find strength to support the agenda of Muhammed Ahmedinejad. There is no way you can deny them their country's very existence without saying that at the same time, you sympathize with Iran's politics. I am not blaming the people of Iran, just pointing out that in the minds of most people, being Jewish means being Zionist or at least, supporting Israel's right to exist.
Biblically, in terms of history and territory, land claim purchases and negotiations, etc. It IS their land. It was taken from them by the Roman Empire. As a Unitarian Christian, I firmly believe that their tradition of protecting Christian and Islamic holy sites and towns shows their support for minorities and respect for other faiths. They have become the caretakers of our spiritual sites, guaranteeing access. It is important to Christians to make a pilgrimage of sorts to the Holy Land. I think the Holy Land is best taken care of by the People of the Book, who founded our religions. Not saying it is better for them, or they're better, but it is true.
