probably not ,seeing the celtic cross has a longer christian heritage then the roman catholic one an X is also a suitable symbol in this context . The first Church was concecrated by Joseph of Aramatheia in 64AD in Glastonbury England so not only does the celtic symbollogy predate Romes the Celtic symbolism was designed by Christ's closet followers not some corrupt bishop 400 years later

The standard version of the cross is wrong anyway, so why would it matter?
The cross that Jesus was crucified on is know as a Tao Cross. It was shaped like an upper case T. T
The cross that is used today wasn't even heard of in those times.

Hi, why don't we see if God's word could spread light on your question. In 1Samuel 16:7 it says "For the Lord see's not as man see's. For man looks on the outward appearance, but God looks on the heart." So I guess it all depends on why you're wearing it. If you're wearing it to honor God, Jesus won't be looking at the Celtic cross He's looking at your heart!!

The only value I've ever known in wearing any kind of Cross or other Christian apparel is as a witnessing tool. It helps to show that you are a Christian and believe what you believe.

There is nothing that would bother Jesus, He loves you as you are and even when you don't believe in Him. The only thing that makes Him suffer is when you do not accept His free love.

No because different cultures can, in their own ways, worship Christ. The celtic cross is very famous to Catholics and it's very very acceptable.

To God, a symbol is a symbol. You could wear a wooden cross and it wouldn't matter. As long as you aren't WORSHIPING symbols or idols then it's fine (it says in the Bible that God does NOT like it at all if you worship symbols or idols, it's more detailed in the Bible of course).
