...without having to give them a credit card # or bank account #.

My grandparents do not trust the internet and so I can only send cash, check, or money order. But I can't find a website that will allow me to do that. There is Ebay but I have had trouble with them and do not trust them anymore. Does anyone know of any place to go?

get the isbn (International Standard Book Number - from the back of the book) for the books you need.

go to http://www.barnesandnoble.com or http://www.amazon.com and research the price.

Amazon does have a pay-by-check option, and they are the easiest to deal with, in my experience. they are always helpful when there is a mistake.

please don't believe that you can only buy your college books from college bookstores.

use amazon.

have a nice day!

If you're in college you must be old enough to get your own credit card. You can apply online it's easy! But for cheap book sites, sometimes they have a phone # where you can call and order the books instead of puting their credit card info. online.

You can actually download most text books online. Like Project Gutenberg. Just look up Ebooks to download for free. Most of the ones you can download are college edition books.
