I think the phrase Christ used was......
You reap what you sow.
I think free speech is that, it should be free and uncensored, however to paly "devils advocate" here (no pun intended) I have seen hunderds of post on this board complaining because the "Non-believers" are here to state their opinions.
You can't have your cake and eat it too. If you want to make your opinion known, you have to accept the fact that others will give theirs as well.
I could always ask when I come across board like these where the subject is Religion ad Spirituality, most people think its only for Christians, Why is that? Have they forgot about the followers f other faiths?
People are really quick to use free speech, free religion etc to support their agenda, but want to dismiss it if they don't believe what the other is saying.

Free speech is something used to empower even the weakest individual! An Atheist can tell you all the reasons why he/she doesn't believe in God, and in our society it's ok for them to do this! But, a Christian would be deemed as wrong for doing such a thing! A Christian can't go around preaching his/her word because if they do they are harassing people forcing information upon us! But, you can go to school and are forced tom listen to how the world began with the big boom! That's ok! Think about it!

A True Christian would not Harass anyone. He/she would find another way to get his/her message out to the world. The atheist might have such a right as the Christian would but he/she should not do so either. This does not seem to hold up on this site for either side of the HILL. Have a great week!

yes, but no. if you use your free speech to harass someone, then you could be breaking the law, and vice versa. But why would you want to do that anyways? Just leave people alone for what they believe in. I am christian, and i would never harass you for being an atheist! It's your decision and i'd leave it at that.

I don't think anyone has a right to harass anyone else. However, free speech allows either atheists or Christians to criticize each others' beliefs and public personalities who espouse the respective beliefs.

What the heck are you talking about? Free speech goes both ways, but if you get into it, be prepared to have the same intensity directed back at you. If you don't have the stomach or the verbal prowess for it, stand back and let others teach you for a while.

harassment is wrong in any sense of the word, there is no reason for anyone to harass another free speech gives us every right to express our beliefs,we have no right to try to force our beliefs we may disagree but that is healthy,we agree to disagree

No. It gives the right for both to state their opinion. Stating an opinion that conflicts with you does not mean the atheist is harassing you and it doesn't mean you're being persecuted as so many seem to think.

Free speech gives everyone the right to say whatever they want. But that also extends to the ones they are preaching to having the right to tell them to go sit on it.

It's not polite for anyone to "harrass" anyone else. I'm not the one knocking on their doors at 10am on a Saturday morning.
