signs.....one was a giant size stuffed dog that I saw in a department store, that looked just like Max.....and the other last night, was a stuffed baby puppy that looked like Max, and both times I just happpened to see it. Do you think that this could be a sign from Max, telling me that he is ok, and for me not to feel sad? I know this may sound weird, but tell me what you think.

When my dog died, I dreamed about him jumping onto the couch, walking throught the room... almost like a ghost. Sometimes when I was in the den I felt like he had just walked into the room. This lasted for a few months and then it didn't happen again. What do you think, was this a sign from my pet? Maybe... it did help me get over loosing him.

Yes could be. Max is alright. I had much the same experiences when I lost 2 fuzzkids in 2 months. If some of these people say your crazy or give you pissy answers... don't pay them no mind. I understand how you feel. I'm sorry about Max. No, you're not weird. It hurts to lose a best friend... even if they have 4 legs and a tail.

Its definitely possible and not uncommon for loved ones, including pets, to communicate to us from the other side in such ways. Its common for a loved one to try to reassure the grieving person that they are ok and happy in the spirit world. If I was you, I probably would have bought the small stuffed toy and taken it home with me!

Just because science cannot confine something to a laboratory and experiment with it, doesn't mean that thing doesn't exist.

Animals can hear and smell things that humans cannot, and some animals such as cats, can see things humans are unable to see.

The fact that you think this is a sign, is an indicator that you have psychic ability that's developed to a higher level than that of most ppl (everyone has psychic ability but many people "tune it out" and a person has to be "tuned in" and receptive to psychic ability to develop it.) Because you are "tuned in", its also possible that you may someday see his "ghost", animals in the spirit world sometimes will give the owner a brief glimpse of them, such glimpses are usually very quick and often just out of the corner of your eye. I once had a gray and white (blue and white) cat go scampering across the room, and at the time I didn't own any blue and white cats, but I had one that had died a short time before I saw the ghost cat run across the room. It's said that cats can see spirits and I believe it because my cats who were present at the time, clearly watched the ghost cat go across the room.
Some people will claim thats nonsense or imagination, but fact remains that science can neither prove or disprove such experiences, many people have had such experiences, and the things humans don't know are vast. The amount of knowledge Man has is a very tiny percentage compared to the amount of knowledge yet to be discovered!

No it doesn't sound all that weird at all. You are totally normal. It sounds as if you and Max had a really close and special relationship. You are grieving. There is a profound sense of loss in your life right now. Your best friend has died and left a hole in your heart. Everywhere you look, you may see "signs" of Max. It's not that you are looking for them, but rather, your subconscience is. And that is where you'll "find" him. A lot of things will remind you of him...and the loss of his presence in your life. He does want you to know that you'll be alright, and it seems, he has found that way, already. I am so sorry for your loss.

I think you really miss Max. You have noticed things that you normally would not notice if the loved one was alive. Rest at ease that max is fine. Haven't you seen all dogs go to heaven? If not you should. I can tell Max was dear to you. So don't shut out the memories and laugh about the funnies and put your heart at ease.

I don't know, but I do leave room for the unexplained. I'm certain that if he were able, Max would speak to you from beyond the bridge. You know that we will be with all of our lost loves again someday right? I'm sure of it.

Remembering Our Past Pets

We have a secret, you and I that no one else shall know,
for who but I can see you lie each night in fire glow?
And who but I can reach my hand before we go to bed
and feel the living warmth of you and touch your silken head?
And only I walk woodland paths and see ahead of me,
your small form racing with the wind so young again, and free.
And only I can see you swim in every brook I pass.
and when I call, no one but I can see the bending grass.

The thing that came to my mind after reading your question was how when one gets a new car they will start to see others with the same make/color car many times. Your dog is on your mind so as some others said you notice things now when you may not have before. Sorry for your loss.

It might be a sign. I'm sorry for your loss. After a while maybe you should get another dog like Max. Its really sad when you lose a pet.

Stranger things have happened dear one. I think it is either Max giving you the good thoughts that he is fine and happy or it is an angel talking to you for Max. Don't be too sad, Max would want you to remember the good times and be happy.

Thi has no explanation of science.. so maybe it's just a coinsidence. How could a dog leave you two stuffed animals??????????????? You probably would have seen it even if you were stilll with Max. But miracles happen... there is just no common sense to what you think.
