No, you're not being selfish to stay firm to yourself. You have every right not to have sex when you don't want to.
However, you don't have a right to stop him from leaving. If all he wants from the relationship is sex, obviously it's not going to work out between you: he's an immature goat (it's a much worse insult than it sounds, if you know male goats) who is just trying to manipulate you to serve him, and you have more spine than he can tolerate in a love toy. That is, unless it was all bluster, and he's not actually willing to give you up for sex.
If he wants to leave, that's his choice, and you can't and shouldn't get in the way of it. You can try to convince him not to leave, but once he decides to, he's gone, whether you believe it or not.
There's plenty of fish in the sea, and he's an ugly little shark, not a tuna.

You can't control or stop anyone from doing anything. You make your own decision and he will make his. It sounds like he's doing you a favor by breaking up with you. If you give in to his demands pretty soon he will have you doing everything that he wants you to. He's controlling and demanding.

Ummm no that would make you like the girl in fatal attraction or something. If he says he is going to break up with you then you can do nothing except watch him leave.

You can't "stop" someone from breaking up with you. If they don't want to be with you anymore, you can't stop them.
Think about this: If he's willing to leave you just because you won't have sex with him, is he really worth being with anyway? If he REALLY liked you, he'd wait for you to be ready. Dump this loser and find someone who really likes you for you and respects your choices.

you have the utmost righteous right to stop him. then again if that guy would break up with you because you dont want to have sex with him; you dont need him. he has no right to say that to you and pressure you in that way. you're smart to say what you want and you should do the same in the way that he shouldnt break up with you.

Yes, you have rights...
So does he....
You have the right to say no to sex..
He has to right to break up with you if you do not give him sex.

Get rid of him. It's obvious that he only wants sex and nothing else. Why would you want to prevent it? You're better off without him. Don't let anybody force you to do something you don't want to do.

Why would you want to stay with him? He only wants you for sex, he obviously doesnt love you for you. Guys like that are NOT worth your time.

no, why would you want to date him then. I guess it's your right to act like a nut and say your still dating after he breaks up with you.
