I like this girl and she knows I like her, but she only likes me as a friend. Why then does she still want to be around me? And why does she still flirt with me sometimes? Is there any chance she might like me a little?

she likes you as much as a mosquito bite.
two months ago on a tuesday during my trip to the amazons. a mosquito bit me in the lower thorax. the bite seemed innocent at the time but when i returned to america i found out i could not sit up from the airplane seat. I was paralyzed from the waist down, because of that bite!!
i later found out it was the dreaded pharoah's curse mosquito that bit king tut. but this was after the plane ride. If i had only know sooner

It's a power thing. It feels good to have someone like you, so she gives you just enough attention to keep you pining after her. If you follow her around like a puppy, she'll ignore you, and if you blow her off, she'll flirt and raise your hopes. She'll most likely never commit to the relationship you want, so you're better off forgetting about her.

It's called leading you on. She's not trying to be mean, she simply likes the attention and is doing what it takes to keep you on the hook, even if she isn't reeling you in. She might not even realize how her actions are affecting you. You need to take control here: decide for yourself if this interaction is what you want, and if it isn't, take action to change it - be it interacting with her differently, or not interacting with her anymore.

she likes attention that guys give her most likely.
sit her down and talk with her, make somethin happen. if it doesn't work out, tell her to kick rocks. move on and find a girl that digs you.

well 1st of all do u want to be liked or liked alil then if she wants to be friends then maybe that is what she just wants or maybe she is keeping u around for rainy days
