it's OK to disagree with another person's opinion, but I would try to do so as kindly as possible. I respect that they have their own beliefs and I have mine.

I try not to rudely disagree with anyone on any matter. I certainly do NOT agree with many people about many different ideas but I try to be as polite and considerate as possible even if our views are radically opposed to one another. I hope other people will treat me with the same respect as well.

It is wrong to rudely disagree or despise anyone. And, yes, you should be allowed to express anything you wish in a society that protects freedom of speech.

should free speech allow nutters to spread delusions and scream that the end is nigh, while they look upon us as freaks? no.
so why the allowance for religious speakers?
a nutter by another name is still a nutter.
we give prozac to the first fool though, and perhaps that is the difference. one is an accepted insanity while the first isnt.

Yes, it would be rude to mistreat such a person.
But I haven't met many. Unfortunately the stubborn, rude ones are much more common.

It's not what they say but "HOW" they say it ... Look at Islam!
A scourge more than a religion of peace, love and forgiveness!
NAME ANY CHARITY SPONSORED BY ANY MOSQUE IN AMERICA THAT IS AIMED AT THE NON-MUSLIM COMMUNITY...none!
Ask the good Non-Muslim citizens of Dearborne Michigan they will tell you! "Zip", "Nada", "0" !!! How lovely!
Islam fosters generational hate for all Jews, intolerance, bombs, Burkas, death, mayhem, suicide, murder and the barbaric treatment of women from forced marriages at 13 to stoning ...
Make you just want to run to your nearest Mosque and convert ... right?
No more wromg than it is to despise or rudely disagree with a Muslim that has a sword to your throat . . . convert of die Evangelists . . same principal. Have pity on them and carry Pepper Spray any way!

Yes, it's wrong, rude, and intolerant. I might disagree with an evangelist who's blatantly in it for the money and fame alone, but the evangelist you've described should not fall victim to heckling by ignorant bigots.

I dont think its wrong to disagree with an evangalist, there is no reason whatsoever to be rude,if its not from the bible then they are teaching what they think(their opinion)that is absolutely wrong. It is never right to teach your opinion where it concerns the bible.God is our teacher and He gave us the word to instruct us.Everyone has a right to their own opinion ,where the bible is concerned we have no rights it is truth and therefore we dont teach our opinion only fact. The bible is our blueprint to life and no one can add to or take away from it.

It's wrong to kill them or beat them up.
It's perfectly fine to argue with them, and it's almost a moral imperative to show how wrong they are (through reason).
If they're free to scream out their nonsense, I'm free to show how silly it is. It works both ways. They can profess in private all they want and I won't care or bother them. If they do it in public -- they're fair game for humilation :)
And it's so easy, too...

Very seldom are there the times and places for this. Religion and politics are two dangerous subjects to talk about.
