Was it confusing to get around like some airports?

no more confusing than usual. just check to make sure you are at the right part of the airport (3 terminals, A, B & C), since you may have to catch your flight at another part of it, which require you to take the airtrain.

Actually Newark airport was one of the easiest airports I've ever been through. The only thing that makes it confusing is when it's really crowded. I believe they have a map of the gates on their website, might be worth looking at before going.

I flew into this airport with Continental, the biggest airline in Newark. It was not confusing to get around in Newark at all.

It's been years, but no. As a matter of fact I think that airport is easier to navigate than LaGuardia...but that's just me.

No, it was pretty simple and their concourse train helped.
