I have an eight month old pit that weighs 70 lbs and i was just wondering how much bigger i can expect him to get?

Most large dogs will grow hight the first year and the second year they grow width

A pit is normally around 35 to 60 lbs. My is a little over that. She should"t grow much more and she is a year old. Now pits need to be walked and active at the age you are talking. That would help with some of the weight. But also, some breeders use larger breeds to mix with the pits blood line to increase the size. If you will research this you will see what I am talking about. But big or little, short or tall they are just lovers.

Large breeds are usually full grown in height between 12 and 18 months of age depending upon the line in which that they were bred from.HOWEVER, full maturity is not reached until between 4 and 5 yrs.
A person at age 18 looks grown but compare again at age 25 and see the difference in maturity.

I would say about 100 pounds. Dogs grow until they are between 1-2 years old, so you still have time left for her to grow.

in what direction? usual growth of dogs are 1.5 - 2 years. after that, expect horizontal growth, not perpendicular.
