Of course. Everyone should have the right to legally marry the person they love.

the rights to love who they want should be given to all.
the rights that define couples should be the same as love and commitment are part of the deal in a couples partnership.
love is blind, and laws should be also, and in relationships only act on motives, intentions, results & symbiosis... not sex of the people involved.
love is love, commitment is commitment. sexuality isnt even a factor in it, so it shouldnt be a factor in the rights of what defines a couple.
why are so many people spending their lives looking into other peoples lives, when their lives dont even affect yours? there is more to life than sideways glances, hate and fear. grow the hell up and correct the problems in your own lives.

I defnately believe that gays should have most of the same rights as straits, but not marraige as it's commonly called. Something different. But when it comes to being married in a Church, I believe that is not right at all. Most churches are built on the Bible, and it's said in the Bible that being gay is wrong.

everyone, gays included, should have equal rights...but gays shouldn't be given special rights. If you're talking about marriage, I do NOT think this institution should be redefined. If that were to happen, gays would be given SPECIAL rights. They have all the same rights as anyone else, why do they need to have marriage as well?

As americans, yes. I dont believe they should be given the same rights as man and woman couples. I think that homosexuality is a sin, but if they want to do it, i dont care as long as it doesnt involve me. They're going to do it whether I like it or not. I just dont think they should be given special privelges. I worked with a guy who was gay and he used it to shove in other people's faces. He did NOTHING at work, and he was rude to all the customers, and when they said they were going to let him go, he threatened a to start a lawsuit against them and said they were firing him because he was gay. He insisted on telling about his sexuality loudly enough for everyone to hear, including children, and came into work dressed as a woman. It was incredibly rude and vulgar. I dont think things like that should be tolerated.

regardless of one's race, religion, gender or sexual orientation, equal rights shodul be a given in any free and democratic country. Any country that doesn;t allow for all peoples to be treated equally under the law is not free and democratic.

Aye, they should. It's all about love right? Gay people love too. They deserve happiness and rights to protect their loved ones.

In America all are afforded "equal rights under the law". GOD created man and instituted marriage. The marriage that HE instituted was between a man and a woman. That relationship is only afforded to a man and a woman according to GOD! In the USA if states wish to call it "marriage" and afford them similar rights then the states can do so. This does not mean that GOD will do so afterwards. HE will judge. We will NoT! I hope that this answers the question that you asked. Have a great week.

Of course, in the future people will look back at what an intolerant society we were and shake their heads like we do now with slavery.
