Mary i'll keep this simple for you, The best way is to try and teach them not to urinate on the grass, yogurt gets mentioned but a bit of a wives tale. Don't give the dog any supplements that claim to work as that wouldn't be good to mess with nature after all when you gotta go you gotta go.

Food additives are available through veterinarians and through stores such as PetSmart. My understanding is that they help to neutralize the nitrogen in the dog's urine, which in turn prevents the grass from burning. I've not used it - but a relative has, with excellent results and no harm to the dog.

try putting a small amount of lime powder on the lawn. your dogs (?) food also needs to be changed. cat urine is very strong and the ammonia content is almost as strong as humans. there's not too much that can be done about that. diet change won't alter nature but dog urine killing grass? that's odd! very odd! also, when the dogs pee, have a hose or water source available & water down the area. that helps too. but really, i have two dogs & they're out a lot. i know they're pooping & peeing outside & my lawn is greener than ever. acid in the urine is either borne out of dietary off-shoot or chemical imbalance within your dogs. if you are feeding them people food or table scraps on a regular basis, you might re-consider & feed them more dog food. we are what we eat & so are they!

as far because of the fact the grass I even have 2 canines a three month previous and a one 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous (the two shelter rescues). They the two consume the grass on each occasion they have an disenchanted abdomen, might desire to poop, or might desire to make themselves vomit. it is often ok for them to consume grass. you only might desire to maintain a pay attention on them once you're faraway from the homestead. you're actually not doing something undesirable it is only canines consume stuff once you're actually not looking and it is not comparable to you may watch them 24/7... i don't comprehend relating to the pee. perhaps because of the fact it is basically a puppy lol?? often whilst canines do something like that it is because of the fact they are lacking something of their weight loss plan. besides the shown fact that it would desire to easily be that your dogs likes urine. canines are strange like that!

If they are males, take some gallon milk jugs full of water (for weight) and put them where you want the dogs to pee. Males like to pee ON something. But they're females, aren't they? When you first let them out, put them on the leash and take them where you want them to pee. Eventually they will get in the habit.
Or, if you know where they usually pee on the grass (I guess you do) I think it would help to pour water with a little vinegar on the spot to neutralize the ammonia. Certainly you could water the spot every day or twice a day, to dilute the pee.

there is some type of liquid that supposedly stops the grass from yellowing. I dont know if it stops it, but I have seen it and laughed at it because IT"S JUST GRASS...
But then again, I dont own my own yard.
I think this stuff can be bought at Petsmart.

Shoot the dogs. Sit on the veranda with a gun and practice your aim when they mess your grass (just kidding)!.

I heard to add tomato juice in their food. Something about the acid in it. But check with your vet before doing this.
