I'm wondering because it seems like I always have similar nightmares whenever I go to bed too soon after eating. Was wondering if there really is a connection.

These nightmares are always very angry. :(

i was doing some dream work a while ago where we had to analyse our nightmares...but i wasnt getting any for a while there. So I did what my mom always told me nto to do and would eat things like pepperoni pizza, devilled chicken wings, pastas etc before bed for a few weeks(to try and stiumulate some nightmares)....and behold....no difference except waking up more hungry than usual.

i think its more to do with how much unresolved stuff is going on in ur subconscious. (maybe ppl that have a lot of unresolved stuff eat more at night to cope with stress....and THATS why they get the nightmares) hmmm....

i think that's only true with spicy food. i work at night, and when i get home, eating is just about the last thing i do before i go to bed, because it helps me sleep if i have a full stomach, but i rarely ever have nightmares.

Actually it is possible, if you eat or drink things high in sugar, your body is still up processing this high amount of sugar. It has to work harder then if you ate something with less sugar. It depends on what you eat really.
