the direction that Christianity is moving in?

The love for your fellow man that Jesus taught is no longer important to you, and has been replaced by hate for, and judgement of those very people that Jesus would have gone out of his way to befriend.

You can deny these things to me, but try looking in the mirror and denying it to yourself.

Don't sweat it Mr Menu. It's not really that big of a deal. When 12 12 12 comes and the cattle cars get here from outer space. Christians that Think they know what their god thinks will get a whole new perspective. God loves you my friend, fried roasted and broiled.

I like how you will use the Bible to try and make a point, but you have stated you don't believe in God. I have read some of your other questions like "We were all created to worship and love God, but hundreds of?" In this question you clearly stated you don't believe.in God.

Do you feed or give to the poor? When have you helped at a homeless shelter? Have you ever given anything to help striving people in other Countries? Maybe you should take a long look in the mirror.

We as Christians are commanded to love our brother, no matter what they are doing, or have done. We do love the whores standing on the street corners. We do love those caught up in the sin of homosexually, or whatever else they may be doing. We love them and want to show them a better life. We love them, but not the sin that has trapped them.

You have no idea what direction Christianity is moving in because you are on the outside looking in. You stand and judge but don't do the very things Jesus taught yourself.

It is still very important to me!! Christians are taught to love your neighbor as yourself and suppose to live by the ten commandments along with the golden rule. I think that you are lumping all so called Christians into one pile. These that you have encountered are not true Christians and may be roommates of yours in Hell.

“I laugh, I love, I hope, I try, I hurt, I need, I fear, I cry. And I know you do the same things too, So we're really not that different, me and you.”

The direction christianity would go, and its final end, were all predicted in the book of Revelation. If I can understand it, then those top Priests, would have understood, then started a watering down process.
I think the point when they understood, was when they turned outright murderous.(Darkness was thrown on the Throne of the Beast) What do you think Martin Luthers motive was in translating the Bible from Latin, into the common German vernacular? To expose the Priests, of course.

You are your brothers keeper. The word of God is as truthful now as it was in the beginning and it's the same. Christianity is moving faster than you think. I look in the mirror every day my friend and see a work in the lord as i try to follow his written word but i am a sinner and ask redemption for my sins every day. Time grows shorter every passing day so why get in with us and see where it leads you, i bet you will like it

Some I would agree, this happens. But TRUE Bible believing Christianity allows a person to LOVE others enough to share the free gift of Salvation God gave to all.

You can deny that I and others love our fellowman, but you are not following this Bible verse Pr 31:9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy."

Esp. OPEN THY MOUTH JUDGE RIGHTEOUSLY

I spread the Gospel as much as I can... in fact if YOU want to know God's free gift of Salvation that will erase all your sin and put you into communication with the Lord... email me.

REMEMBER JESUS Himself RESISTED the proud!!! Look at the rich young ruler that came to Him! Christ resisted the proud and gave GRACE to the humble!

Jesus protect me from church people. I wish Jesus existed so he could come back and get a look at the people who claim to be christians. They make him look like an idiot.

Moreover, only an ego-maniac would condemn to Hell all people who are not aware he's the greatest -- which is what they claim Jesus will do. He would disapprove of the reputation they have given him.

Church people say Jesus is coming back, they ought to be glad he isn't.

there are individuals that try to live by what Jesus taught. Both inside the church and outside of it .But they are in the minority. Then there are those that only practice inside the church and a few friends.
The rest only give lip service to what Jesus taught.
They need to do more than look in mirror. they need to follow Jesus' teaching of IF YOU CAN NOT FIND ME WITH IN , YOU WILL NOT FIND ME WITHOUT.
Too many Sept's going in different directions. All saying ours is the only true way.

True Christianity, by TRUE definition, is incapable of moving in that direction. Christianity MEANS Christlikeness.

But you're right on one point. There are literally thousands (maybe millions) of people running around saying (and probably thinking) they're Christians, but they refuse to take God at his word and obey him. But God will deal with them at judgement. The bible says that those who know God's word but ignore it are worse off than an unbeliever.

Not a Christian myself, but aren't you over generalizing a bit? I know a lot are as you say, but there are also a goodly number who actually do try to live by the precepts of their religion.

What about them, then? Same derision on your part?
