well the dog thinks of your wife as his leader so he is protecting her from you. i no my dog did the same thing with my mom. the dog is being dominate over you. you should do exercises like lay him down that is submisove telling him you r thier leader not him. also hold his back legs up for 10 secs. i did that and after a while it stoped. it will take time be pationt. Have you ever hurt her, slap her or hit her? What about wrestling with her? If so, then the dog thinks he is protecting her from you. You may wrestle with her but the dog is not sure that is kosher, so he is doing what he is suppose to be doing.
And she may have him so spoiled that your dog is not willing to share his spoils with you, He does not want you to be a part of this closeness. He is not willing to share. You have problems! Just call me "The Dog Whisper"

Ur dog might be jealous especially if it a female. my dog doesnt like my boyfriend hugging n kissing on me either he jumps right in da middle n he's a male. i guess sometimes our animals think they r human n our mates

Does your wife look or sound like a sheep? Only kidding. It sounds like he is trying to establish dominance over one of you. If he is trying to get her attention, it sounds like she is the "Alpha" and you and he are competing for "Beta." You need to establish dominance and make him the Omega.

He is trying to be the alpha male of his "pack". This usually leads to aggression later on so I suggest you show him that YOU really are in charge and no longer let him continue on with this kind of behavior.

Because he has claimed your wife to be his, if u want it to stop your wife is gonna have to scold him everytime and show him that it is ok for u to come near

He treats you like he is in charge and you are the
