Do NOT break the law in any way whatsoever. Stay way clear of any activity that is illegal, including drugs, underage drinking, etc.

Your best bet is to get some colege in as well, especially criminology, law, or accounting.

Do not get into any type of trouble that include the law. Your background will be checked. Make sure you take math along with the regular studies in highschool. Get involved in sports. Take any law enforcement class offered. My grandson did this and he loves working in the law field. He went to Brockport in New York and worked with the US Marshalls, went to Washington DC and did some internship. Went to Virginia and worked as a Sheriff. Just follow the laws and classes. Good luck.

In the old days, you have to have a degree in law, or accounting, or one of the sciences to apply. I think now, all you have to have is a bachelors's degree in any field. Since computers is the main way of communicating and doing business today, a degree in computer science would be a plus. The FBI now has what is called a cyber crimes unit.

Yeah good grades are a must, also NO CRIMINAL RECORD, not even traffic offenses.. You have to get into an excellent college and take law and administration of justice classes.... Taking Arabic is good too. Oh yeah and in school, don't miss any days, and don't get ANY discipline referals....Good Luck

when you get out of school go to the police academy and get some training behind you. Then you could use this as a reference when you want to go to the F.B.I.
