Why does the Christian Religion get a lot of criticism and it seems OK, but then when Islam is made fun of...?

I don't see this. The Christian Religion gets made fun of or poked at all the time, from Non-Muslims and Muslims. But then when someone says something bad about Islam, there is a whole uproar of Muslims telling whoever said the bad thing to take it back. They make a big deal over the comment and how their religion is made fun of. They also say that whoever said it is bad and mean etc. But then some of the Muslims turn around and make fun of Christianity again. Can anyone say why?

Please excuse this repost of some muslim telling us that that he wanted an honest answer as to why we non-muslims are so unfair to them.

Honesty? We see no signs of any Muslims trying to stop their terrorists members.

Instead, we are constantly disturbed by Muslim leaders coming to America and immediately claiming that they have been "insulted" by other peoples freedom of expression.

Honesty: Have you seen any Christians yelling, "I have been insulted"? Have you seen one Christian complaining on this chat group about being called names or being falsely accused? NO

Have you seen Atheists saying "I have been insulted"

Why is it, that Muslims, like yourself, with your question, complain about the "freedom of expression" in our country.

Stop complaining and maybe you will stop being hated.

And, for God's sake stop saying that Muslims are justified by killing Jews and Christians because Christians Killed Muslims in the Crusades over 1000 years ago.

Learn to play "chat". "Chat" is a game that allows "freedom of expression"................. Get it?

Added: If I told you that I believe in terrorism, I paid money to a church that preaches the justification for terrorism, but don't commit any terrorism personally ...... If I did all these things, would you say I am a criminal or would you say "Oh then that's ok you only support terrorism"?

The Bible is a history of violence (in the old days).

The Qur'an is an instruction of how to commit violence (Now), and rewards for killing non-Muslims.

Do you think you can Hide the Qur'an, and all its violent sexist instructions to all Muslims?

I think the big problem is that the vast majority of christians on Y!A are american christians and they are like no other christians in the world for their crazy ideas and narrow minded viewpoint. I very much doubt if there are anywhere near as many British Christians or other English speaking Christians in Y!A that are so vindictive, abusive and violent in their nature. Their collective ignorance is unbelievable and of course they leave themselves wide open to retaliation with some of the pathetic things they accuse other people of doing, out of both ignorance and malice. So they really only have themselves and their own stupidity to blame. I think a lot of them should do a little research outside of their `faith` and then engage the rational part of their brains before operating their keyboards. To be honest I have had `that much` of them on this site that I am up to `here` with them and what once were feelings of pity for them are now turning to feelings of utter indifference for their pathetic ideas. They bloomin` well ask for it and they will bloomin` well get it from now on.

What Earl D said. Islam's stated goal is global domination - make the whole world submit to Islam by any means necessary. This includes violence and intimidation, as with terrorism, but also trickery and deceit. Islam strikes from inside a culture as well as without, exploiting a nation's legal system and public forum to gain special priveliges and allowances for Muslims. This continues until it basically becomes a Muslim nation. It's happening all over Europe - France will probably go Muslim within my lifetime.

Liberal states make this process easier because they have no instinct for self defense or will to resist, they have tendencies toward self-hatred, and a politically-correct overwhelming fear of offending a minority. Islam is seeing these tendencies in our government and especially in our media and is capitalizing on them. There are whole organizations in the U.S. whose goal is a U.S. under Islamic law (Shari'a). CAIR - Council on American-Islamic Relations - is the best known.

Funny I seem to remember once that a beetle compared himself to Jesus and people started burning their albums. I guess people learned a long time ago just where the limits are with Christians 'good humor'. Never mind those 'good humor' Christians threated to boycott walmart for not commercializing Christmas enough. I won't even go into the whole gay dust ups. Where those 'good humor' Christians have tried to strip funding away from gay charities. Get over the persecution complex.

Same reason that in a Christian country like the USA, we use BCE and CE instead of BC and AD, and we say "holiday" instead of "Christmas". Because the West world has an anti-Christian bias. No doubt.

Muslims were never told to do that.

But ppl who make baseless fun of either religion suck. I have occasionally found myself defending Islam merely because the attacker was so blatantly mean-spirited.
