Love is never suppose to be abusive, it is a gift to us from GOD and should never be abused. A healthy relationship does not mean arguing; you can agree to disagree. Granted I am not saying you will never argue but starting out with hitting only sets you up for later abuse from both of you. If it is love then why do you seem to be enemies not friends. Your husband should be your best friend and protector and you his if needed. Only advise from experience. Early on behavior is a taste of what only gets worse in the future and maybe more violent. Just think about it long and hard, both of you. Is that the way you both want to be treated? You both deserve the best, don't we all !

This doesn't sound like a healthy relationship. You didn't say how old you both are, but even then it doesn't seem like it's going to last. My husband and I had disagreements, but I ALWAYS knew he loved me, and he would never push, shove or hit me. You need to take a time out at the very least. If it was me, I would break up with him. I would demand respect from whomever I was with, because I give respect to whomever I am with. There's just some things that you can't take back. I would take some time apart to see if this is what you really want. If you have to ask everyone if he loves you, deep down inside - don't you already know?

If he's like this when you're dating, how do you think he'll be once he has you for his wife? Both of you are to blame, you shouldn't have shoved his head. You guys need to learn to talk/communicate like adults for the sake of you and your possible family.
Someone cannot love you and want to physically or mentally put harm on you. You guys need to break up or see therapy. Don't get married until you are confident you guys can spend your lives abuse free. Sure he may say he loves you, but you never know...it could be lust, like, or just plain being "used to a person"
Do you love this guy, because you haven't mentioned this once in the question. You say he always says he loves you and appologizes. Don't be with him because you feel sorry for him (you may not feel this way, I'm just saying). Everyone deserves that special someone who will love, protect, and be with them "til death do they part"

Well i don't know if anyone els agrees with me but if hes hitting you in any way shape or form, then he needs to take a hike. but to answer your question, id say he doesn't know what he wants and he never will. He might say he loves you when everything is going good but loving someone is being able to say it when your happy or pissed.

To begin with, run.... run to a competent counselor because you need attention. Next, move, change your telephone number, and get a restraining order. Finally, move on...
You both are abusing one and another, and you two should not be together.

Get rid of him. The hitting will get worse. If I were closer I'd break his arms and legs he's too afraid to hit a man.

Wao, it doesn't sound good. If someone doesn't care about your feeling, he doesn't love you, at least not love you enough. You two haven't got married, and he fighted you back, how can you trust him after you get marry?

be smart and get out of that relationship. if they've done it once they are likely to do it again. get out before you wound up DEAD seriously. even if he begs or threaten to kill himself don't sacrifice yourself. think about it while you can.
