"Oh ye generation of vipers!"
You're right Christianity is a perversion of Christ's teaching.

If their was a God...he would probably say that he is disgusted with how narrow minded and judgmental people have become...and ask them why they never figured out that we all have brains and common sense. And that sinning then asking for forgiveness and having that be your excuse to do wrong is a bunch of BS....we make choices every minute of everyday....do the right thing, then you won't need to go pray for forgiveness until next Sunday when you do it all over again.

"jesus" is of the "imag"ination and never was, so how can that which was not, come back?
"jesus" is the "imag"ined name given to one head of the three headed pagan "god" of the "catholic" and "christian" religious systems approx 500 years ago.
The Messiah, He was a servant of The Only True GOD, and His Teachings(which were given Him by The Only True GOD) and Life example did not create a religion, they revealed "The Way to The Truth of The Life".......
and simply, "The Way to The Truth of The Life" is "Father, not my will, But THY Will Be Done"!
Father Help! and HE does.......
and while there is breath(spirit) there is hope!
for Miracles do happen!
hope is there would be those who experience The Miracle that is "receiving a love of The Truth" for they will seek, and desire, to follow The Messiah on "The Way to The Truth of The Life".......
peace, in spite of the dis-ease(no-peace) that is of this wicked world.......

Jesus actually can come back whenever he wishes, but he hasn't yet. I think it's to give people a chance to change their ways still. See, what's amazing to me is he already knows what's in our hearts & he doesn't turn his back on us, but he's giving us every opprotunity to turn to him. And you're right, some people are self-righteous & God wouldn't be happy with that, because (paraphrasing) our attitude should be that of Christ Jesus, who in very nature, God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking on the very nature of a servant, being made into human likeness. So, as Christ's followers, we are to serve people & lay down our lives for them, not make them feel inferior.

Do you really want to know what He is going to say?
Here it is: (Matthew 7:21-23)
7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
7:22 "Many will say to Me in that day, `Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
7:23 "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'
"Lawlessness" means, doing aganst the Law of God.
The Law of God says: "Thou shalt have no other God besides Me." So if you put a human being by what ever name and call her "The Queen of Heaven", that is a direct transgression of the Law of God.
If you make statues and worship them or bow down to them, that is an act of lawlessness.
"Killing", blaspheming, stealng, adultery, lying, dishonouring parents, all those are Lawlessness, and as plain as day.
That's why the final appeal from God in the Last Book and last chapter of the Bible is:
22:14 Blessed [are] those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
22:15 But outside [are] dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie. (Revelation 22:14,15).
Isn't that still not clear to you? The blessed ones are the one who keep or do His commandments, but verse 15 says that those who are not blessed and are not allowed to enter heaven will be those who are "transgressors" or "lawless" people such as:
"sorcerers" (worshippers of devil instead of God, thus transgressing the first commandment) and sexually immoral (transgressors of the fourth commandment)and murderers (transgressors of the 6th commandment) and idolaters(transgressors of the 2nd commandment, which has been discarded from the Catholic Cathechism) , and whoever loves and practices a lie (transgressors of the 9th commandment).

I think he has told us what our problem is. We are the church of Laeodecia, He says He wants to vomit us out of HIs mouth. Not very pleasant. He is telling us to get off our fat butts and actually spread the word. And live the LIFE He has given us.

Jesus does see all the church people and that is why He has not returned yet...the church is not ready. He would say - Prepare.

There are Christians who are really trying to live the way Christ wants them to. Its a shame people only think about the other ones.

He would be hurt, because most people go to church for socializing, to have a place in community. That is so wrong!! You go to church to serve God, not community.

He would probably look at the gold chalices in Catholic churches and the huge diamonds on the likes of Pat Robertson* and ask them why they couldn't have found better places for that money.
*May he burn in hell for all eternity.
