yes. My oldest son went year after year. My youngest son went one time and was homesick the entire two weeks even though his aunt was a counselor and his brother was in his cabin. He never returned, and vacationed with my wife and I while the oldest did camp.

Yes my oldest boy went this summer and he is going again this winter.
Find a church and see if they have any camp programs or go online and search for some in your area.
I went to camps all the time as a child, they are SO MUCH FUN!!!
some more pricey than others, the kids are VERY WELL watched over and usually the kids are broken up into goups and always have a counselor for each 5-10 kids that sleep with them. BOys and girls are far apart seperated and there are reat activities.
This will teach your child social skills and teamwork in group settings, the kids are usually fed pretty well and they have experiences for memories that last a lifetime!!!

Yes i have sent my daughter to camp x2 since she was 9yo. There were no problems & she had a fantastic time & made new friends. Summer camps are great for kids as long as they are accredited & supervision is reliable - you can check that out yourself.

No-I have daughters and I would not even consider that of half a second. I have heard too many horror stories-no way.
