I just saw this video on Yahoo and wonder what your thoughts are on this? I personally think it is ridiculous, but as an atheist I have no use for any religion. But I guess to each their own. :)

What will religious empires think of next? The world is overpopulated. (Been in any traffic jams lately?)
We are running out of food and even water on this planet.
But the only sure way for a Church to get new members is to propogate them by encouraging large families.
How selfish can these churches get? To bankrupt the world, and to bankrupt the families by preaching that contraceptives of any sorts is a sin.
Babies certainly are wonderful and a real blessing, if the parents have the time and money to raise these children in a harmony loving atmosphere.
Too many children in a family actually creates disharmony. Both parents working overtime, while the day care centers overbulge, and treat our children as robots. (sorry about that, but personal experience)
All of this quiverfull: (meaning a quiver holds arrows, and you need to have a full quiver of arrows to serve God (arrows meaning children, and children meaning members of the particular church that advocates large families supplying them larger congregations.)

I've heard of it. It scares me.
It's fine to have lots of kids if you love kids. But to have lots of kids so that you can make certain your religion outnumbers all the others? That's taken directly from Nazi doctrine.
