These are great questions I think Joe would have won because he knocked Marciano down in their fight at his old age and Marciano had a great chin so if Joe was in his prime he could have followed up on that knock down and finished Marciano it would have been a great fight

Joseph Louis Barrow in his prime would have definitely beat Rocco Francis Marchegiano if there had been a fight between the two of them, because "Rocky" had not even started his professional boxing career when Louis was in his prime.
However, had they both fought while both were in their prime, I doubt Joe Louis could have beaten Marciano. Marciano was the only undefeated heavyweight in history. He even beat Ali in a computerized simulation by TKO in the 13th round.

Joe Louis would've beaten Rocky Marciano in a good fight, but Rocky would have made his presence felt for most of the fight.

Joe Louis would own him. Marciano, while a good fighter, was trmendously over-rated. Joe Louis is probably the best Heavyweight ever.

its a good question but i rate the brocton bomber much higher than max s. the fighter who beat louis once so i think marciano would still have beaten the brown bomber in his prime

Joe Louis hurt Marciano in the fight they had when Louis was old. I think Louis would beat him if he were younger.

I believe he would have, Louis was a different breed and changed the sport in my opinion. By the way, a woman asking boxing questions is sexy!!!
