Its as simple as this:

What goes around comes around.

Karma actually means "action"

For every action there is an equal reaction.

If you are mean to someone, they will be mean to you eventually.

If you are destructive toward this planet, this planet will eventually be destructive toward you (pollution, global warming, etcetera

Remember: When someone mentions Karma, Just think and ask yourself: "How will my decisions (and actions) today affect my circumstances tomorrow.

.

Yes, karma is real. There are many expressions used that essentially say the same thing. "You reap what you sow", "What goes around, comes around", "You get out what you put in", "Do unto others as you would have done unto you". Even Isaac Newton's third law of motion states, "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction". Karma is simply the reaction of activity, good or bad. By the way, I saw a bumper sticker that said, "My Karma ran over your Dogma". Too funny!

There are many problems with the salvation-by works doctrine of reincarnation. First, there are many practical problems. For example:
1. We must ask, why does one get punished for something he or she cannot remember having done in a previous life?
2. If the purpose of karma is to rid humanity of its selfish desires, then why hasn't there been a noticeable improvement in human nature after all the millennia of reincarnations?
3. If reincarnation and the law of karma are so beneficial on a practical level, then how do advocates of this doctrine explain the immense and ever-worsening social and economic problems - including widespread poverty, starvation, disease, and horrible suffering - in India, where reincarnation has been systematically taught through out its history?
There are also many biblical problems with believing in reincarnation. For example, in 2 Corinthians 5:8 the apostle Paul states, "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord." At death, the, the Christian immediately goes into the presence of the Lord, not into another body. In keeping with this. Luke 16:19-31 tells us that unbelievers at death go to a place of suffering, not into another body.
Further, Hebrews 9:27 assures us that "man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment." Each human being LIVES ONCE as a mortal on earth, DIES ONCE, and then FACES JUDGMENT. He does not have a second chance by reincarnating into another body.

I have a TV set with a bad habit of going off at the most opportune times. I decided to put a monitor in the circuit that would allow me to use my recording device and watch TV no matter what the old bigger TV decided to do.

The big set has not quit yet. About 1 month. The small monitor stands at the ready but hasn’t had to work.

I think so, but I doubt you'll have actual *proof* -- it's not like it's instant karma, so it's probably hard to see a causal relationship half the time. Still, I've noticed that people who do bad things are rarely happy people.

Karma is not a religion, it's a religious philosophy from Buddhist teachings and I do believe in it because it's about cause and effect. When you do harm to someone, it's likely come back to you.

Sure it is, you just have to be open minded enough to feel it. I have many times felt good Karma (energy) from people, and also bad as well. I think it has much to do with following you intuitions.

I think the term karma is hindi, but for that lack of a better term it says in the bible that you sow what you reap

Galatians 6:7

7Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.

All I know is that what happens ..happens. I don't think karma has anything to do with it. Maybe the way we live our life has alot to do with what happens to us and what doesn't.
