Why do fat people hate skinny people and give them mean looks?

I have never noticed this. I have, however, noticed lots of healthy people make fun of the obese. My mom used to be obese, and now that she is down to a healthy weight, she says there's a HUGE difference between how people treat her. When she was fat, people were rude to her, gave her slow service at stores, and sometimes ignored her. Now that's she's healthy, she gets treated much better. So maybe if the fat people you know glare at you, it's because you're a mean self-centered biatch who thinks you're better than the fat people.

I've always been very thin and have never had any problems with overweight people. Hopefully all people look for personality in people instead of outside features. Sadly I know thats not the case always.

Well that's obvious...Overweight people usually want to thin and it's jealously. Not to be mean but it is. I am 5'4 and weigh 122lbs and I would love to gain weight. I am not anorexic thin but I would love to have meat on my bones and it's impossible for me to gain weight. I admit I'm jealous of those who have meat in all the right places....I don't necessarily give them mean looks. I'm guessing that's why though. ....personally I don't know since I've never been able to get past 122 lbs :( except during my pregnancies

well i dont think that is true im big ish lol and i dont walk round giving skinny girl dirty looks maybe you are sending of wronge signals or you might be a bit paronid walk round with a smile and if people give you dirty looks ignor them does it really matter what other people think of you anyway or how they look at you

Obese/overweight human beings are treated very badly in society and can sometimes joke about their predicament...but sometimes they like to take out their frustration on "poor skinny girls" like yourself. They probably EXPECT you to be thinking "ew, that ugly fatass...", so instead of waiting for you to think that, they are simply showing you that they think nothing more of you then you think of them. Can you really blame them...or I mean us, because I am overweight, though I don't find myself giving dirty looks to girls who are better off than I am.

The most I do is call my friends "skinny biatches", but in a joking way. And I take pride in beating all of the skinny biatches at my gym at running...they underestimate the "bigger" people. Haha.

But, don't take it too personal when you get dirty looks. You wouldn't understand how it is....And I guess that isn't any excuse.

why do people make fun of fat people? (an old song Different Strokes ) it's all about people disliking other people for so many different reasons. Sometimes people are so cruel! Do you make fun of skinny or fat people?

Maybe they think you are judging them, which is funny because you think they are judging you. Just give them a friendly smile and nod. If they are still giving you mean looks, then know you are the better person. HTH : )

beacuse skinny people flaunt their a*** around and are the ones to humiliate and pick on people much bigger,sometimes skinny
B**** flaunt it in fat peoples face"s.they shouldnt beacuse an advantage to being big is that you can break the skinny B**** ,so really it's all the matter of how u present yourself and u r attitude towards people who are bigger.

also i think it'll be a good idea not to anger a bigger person,and also be nice!

I can't speak for "fat people", but it could be because they have been treated poorly by skinnier people in the past, so they dislike all skinny people. Or it could be because they have poor self esteem and need to give you dirty looks and make you feel bad to make themselves feel better. ?
