I need to fall asleep and my mom makes me GET into bed at 10:25 and I'm not tired the least bit. I am 10 years old and my mom is writing the question with me (its her account) what can I do in my head or a game or challenging thing to do in my head?

i have the same problem most of the time. what i would do is if you have a TV in your room ask your mom to let you turn that on and turn the volume down so your the only one that can hear it. for me if i close my eyes and listen to the TV it helps me fall asleep but try not to get interested in the program and stay up all night watching TV.

When I was little I learned from watching the Muppet Babies a little trick to help you fall asleep faster (and I think it works). First lie down in bed with your arms and legs stretched out and breathe in and out as deep as you can. Then clear your mind. After about a minute think to yourself "I'm not gonna fall asleep, I'm not gonna fall asleep, I have to stay awake" then slowely but surely you should start to want to sleep and then fall asleep!

Good Luck!

Okay. This might sound a little "off the wall" at first, but someone once told me, and it's true, for me, "if you can't sleep, wash your feet." Told ya. Sounds silly, at first, but if you try it, it is quite soothing, and it helps a person get to sleep quite quickly. All the best!

I think of a very show and try to think of alternative endings or what I would have like to see with my favorite character do.
That puts me in a dreamy kinda state and helps me drift off to sleep.
