As to how, I just do. It is as simple as that. As to why, there are a few reason. 1. There isn't one single scrap of divine evidence in existance. Something like god or an angel coming down to earth in this time and performing a miracle, like stopping a hurricane that is going to kill 100's or ending the war in the middle east would be proof enough for me. Even if it was only one time. Every single scrap of evidence that christians say they have, is man made. Even the bible was written by man. 2. Because of all the problems that god and religion have caused in history. Look at all the people that have died and are dying still in the name of religion. If god were real and loved us like the bible says he does,he would put a stop to it. 3. The bible says that god made us in his image. Christians say that only god is perfect. I think we can all agree on that. Point being, that if only god is perfect, we are not and he made us that way. Not being perfect, we are prone to make mistakes, like eating from the forbidden fruit and following false religions. So even though god made us imperfect and prone to make mistakes, time and time again he punishes us for being the way he made us. If there is a god, he is a sadistic bastard and I want no part of him. There are just a few of the whys. I could list plenty more for you.

People deny the existence of God because they don't see it. Believing in God is having faith... and to have faith means to believe in something not seen, but to trust. Because everyone is so scientific these days they believe you have to have an answer for every little thing.

Why? reason. there is a lack of any compelling or verifiable evidence to support the existence of a god.
How? like this: I deny the holy spirit. I proclaim that I have no belief in the supernatural.
BTW, WHICH god? why do you not believe in Zeus? Eris? Morriagn?

I don't deny the existence of God, and neither do the demons who believe in Him. James says even the demons believe in God...and SHUDDER!
James 2:19:
"You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder."
So it's not enough to believe in God in order to go to heaven. You must repent of your sins and trust in the death, burial and the resurrection of Jesus Christ as payment for your sins.
You must give more than a tacit admission of God's existence in order to be righteous before Him; you must give Him your loyalty.

A person can do so merely because there is no evidence proving the god exists.
However, there is nothing to prove that there is no god, as well, which is why the only thing humans "know" (whether they care to admit it or not) is that they simply do not know.

easy, I have seen no proof of it. And I have many stories: take this one...my parent's first born died when he was 11. They adopted me 2 years later. I was ready to go home, but wasn't able to for a few months (don't know why). I arrived at their home on the exact date of his death...they say I'm a gift from him (their dead son)
I've totalled 2 cars, almost been shot (close miss), and tons of other near death accidents...
I call it luck and coincidence

it's easy.....what reason do i have to believe in god?
i believe that the universe is an amazing fantastic place and I am tiny and insignifigant and everything is beautiful and real.....and who is god??? a man in the sky who is making everything happen??
i just accept everything as a perceive it and i don't feel the need to rationalize things by saying that theres some divine plan
