Put the platter on the lazy susan or, if it is too late, slide wax paper under the cake.

turn the lazy susan upside down and lay on the top of cake and turn over.....i hope your not meaning a finished cake ...if so usetwo spatula and remove gently

owch! shoulda used a circle or square of cardboard...next time!
This time, get as many of the longest and firmest spatulas you have, get a few more hands to help you and scoop and move.

if you take cake from my Suzann, it and you will be in many crumbly pieces.
