Yes I had a relative that was very close to death because of a neglected tooth. That gave me the motivation to get my teeth all fixed because I had a wisdom that was decaying and infected badly. Any toothaches/infections will cause you to feel very yucky too. I had headaches and jawproblems etc. Good luck!

Any type of infection can lead to death if left untreated if it advances far enough. It doesn't matter what part of the body has the infection.

Infection in the teeth is pretty common and you better consult a physician or a dentist to get a decent answer.

Yes. Any kind of bacteria or virus has the potential to harm you if your immune system is unable to attack whatever has infected you. Some kinds of infections are "benign" and just make you feel bad others make you feel tired, or you lose your appetite, etc. Death is kind of the extreme.
But if you are prescribed antibiotics or antiviral medication it's important to take them as prescribed for the length of treatment. Failing to make your meds or taking them inconsistently can lead to superinfection which is where bacteria become more resistant to treatment.

Yes because the jaw is so close to the brain an infection in a tooth takes a few weeks to reach your brain.

if there was an infection in the mouth/gums, the infection could spread into the blood and this could lead to death in a worst case senario, but it is un likely...also the infection would be so bad you would have a high fever, nausia....etc

Any infection can lead to death if not taken care of. Tooth aches have even been proven to lead to insanity if not properly treated or not treated at all.

Yes. The infection can get into the blood, which can carry it to the heart. I have a heart condition that requires I be given antibiotics before oral surgery so this does not happen.

If the abcess leaks white grainy stuff that gets into the bloodstream, you could die without the proper antibiotic working in your favor. The infectious white stuff actually deteriorates the heart valves and causes your heart to leak. once that starts, it's all over unless you are already on the operating table with a new donor heart sitting on a tray.

Yes - One thing you can get is called an abscess. If the infection goes long enough - it can get into your blood stream and cause major health issues or even death.
