I bought him a birthday present, and on his birthday I am either going to have my friend or me ask him out, and I am going to tell him my feelings.

don't play games like that unless you are prepared to lose. not saying you will lose, but you are opening the game to play out that way. be open and honest w/ your crush and if your crush doesn't respond in kind, move on.

yes execute, you need to ask him yourself if your plan is to continue this then your not ready for anything real anyways so why waste your time, I know i'm being a boring, has been adult sorry but thats how I look at it I know your all twitterpatted (from bambi noone seems to remember that) anyways and giddy and I do remember how it felt Its just silly because theres really nothing to it, if you knew that he is no better than you and he's probly the one who should only be lucky if you would even speak to him so look at it that way and ask him yourself I know thats asking a lot but its true, goodluck Kim

In my honest opnion i think you do need to back out of the plan and ask him out yourself if you really like him then you should not be shy around him . if you cant talk to him to ask him out then how are you going to be able to talk to him when you go out with him ?

Did you ask her to ask him out for you or for her to date him herself. Theres nothing wrong with it if you are shy. He might not like the fact that you cant say it your self and he might not tell her yes because he wont feel comfortable telling somebody that he likes you(even though he really might).

Do not send your friend to do your job, it makes you look chicken $#!@. Be bold and ask him yourself, you will leave a much bigger better impression or confidence and he will know you are serious and really into him.

sounds like you may be young and its normal to do it this way...your friend is like the ice breaker for ya..which is ok...Now if you are 18 or above...grow a set hunny and do it yourself :)
