My doctor told me there is no such thing as good or bad food...just the quanity we consume.

It may take some time(just as it was to put on extra pounds), but avoid soda's, buffet's, fast-food(TRULY garbage par-excellence).

If you reduce your caloric intake by just 10-15% per day, the punds WILL come off. Also you make look at lifestyle changes.

After many years I finally figured out that all the foods that I like are bad for me, and the tasteless yucky things are supposed to make me lose weight. The best thing is water. But seriously, stay away from colas and foods that are loaded with salt or sugar. I buy fruit juice and cut it about 1 juice to 10 parts water for just a hint of taste. It also helps not to be a couch potato. You need to get some excercise, even if it's just walking.

Your question is not clear. If you mean what food loses weight when cooked, the previous posted is correct with ground beef. However, if you mean what food helps you to lose weight, the best answer is celery. It is a fact that you use more calories eating celery than there are in celery.

I would think any food without a high fat content and the amount of food intake you have. More than a fist size at each meal should keep you going but the exercise factor would help you greatly.

No ONE food will make you lose weight, but meals that not only fufill you with a full days vitamins and calcium, iron etc... and are not fattening help.

My advice: water.
Lots of it.
